Concert Review

On Sunday 10th June 2018 we held our inaugural summer concert at St Luke’s Church Hall. It was a lovely occasion, made so memorable by the pupils who took part. Most noteworthy was the confidence demonstrated by all the children, the youngest performer was just 4 years old! In addition to hearing a number of our young pianists play, Amalie also played her violin. Similarly, our staff contributed to the concert too. Emily, one of our tutor apprentices played a magnificent piece on the oboe. Richard and Katie played a flute duet, accompanied by Emily and Richard played a grand finale on the piano. Perhaps our adult pupils will be brave enough to perform in our Christmas concert… (mulled wine and mince pies to calm any performance nerves). In conclusion it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Thank you for your support and well done to the performers.
